PUBLIC OUTREACH EVENT FOR SB1383 AND UNIVERSAL WASTE COLLECTION 03/01/2025
The City of Ferndale will host a Public Information Event regarding the changes in legislation related to waste and recycling due to SB1383 on March 1, 2025 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Ferndale City Hall, 834 Main Street, Ferndale. This outreach event includes the steps being taken for compliance resulting in INCREASES TO YOUR CURRENT RATES. There are many parts to SB1383 so we encourage you to come and ask questions to better familiarize the events that will be mandated by the state in the upcoming future. CODE RED EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM
Code Red Alert System is now available for Ferndale. Residents can sign up to be alerted by phone, email, text, mobile app, etc. for time sensitive emergency alerts and general city messages. We encourage our residents to sign up for these services that allow our public safety officials to alert residents and businesses regarding emergency situations. To register simply follow any of these steps: 1. Use your camera to scan the QR Code below, or go to https://accountportal.onsolve.net/ferndalealerts. Then click “Register”. 2. Fill out as many of the form fields as you would like. We recommend multiple points of contact to ensure you can be reached during an emergency. 3. Make sure to keep your information up to date.
