Mobley Construction DBA- MCI PO Box 451 Ferndale CA 95536 Road I Intersection Closure Paving and Road Resurfacing Date: 09/17/2024 Location: Berding St between at Washington St and at Brown St (including intersection). To Whom It May Concern: Mobley Construction “MCI” will be working on the anticipated days of September 19th thru September 25th. Crews will be arriving around 7:30 am and will be working during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Work will consist of grinding out existing roadway and repaving. No parking will be allowed on Berding St between Washington and Brown as well as approximately 60 ft into the cross streets at Brown and Washington. If you have a driveway on Berding St or the cross streets area crews are working on you will not be able to access the driveway during this time. Please note that there may also be traffic delays in the area during construction times, use alternate routes. Tentative Schedule- SUBJECT TO CHANGE 9/19/2024- Intersection of Berding St. and Brown St. will be closed 9/20/2024 – Intersection of Berding St and Washington St will be closed. 9/23 -9/25- Road closure on Berding St between Brown and Washington including intersections. FERNDALE BUSINESS & DOG LICENSE RENEWALS
Ferndale Business and Dog Licenses renew on July 1st. Reminder Postcards start going out this week. Fees are due and payable by July 31, 2024. If you would prefer to have your notices emailed, please email the city clerk at cityclerk@ci.ferndale.ca.us. You may mail in your payment to City of Ferndale. POB 1095, Ferndale, CA 95536. Checks or Money Orders should be made out to City of Ferndale. FOR BUSINESS LICENSE RENEWAL Please reference Business name if using a personal check, or if business name is different from the check being used. If you need to make any changes to the license, please submit payment with a business license form. Business License Application FOR DOG LICENSE Please be sure to review your renewal postcard. Your postcard includes the rabies expiration date the city has on file. If your dogs rabies certificate has expired, we will need a current copy of the rabies certificate. The city will not renew a dog license with out a current rabies certificate. If you have a new dog, please fill out the dog license application. Renewal payments can be mailed in. Please include a current rabies certificate if needed. Checks or money orders should be made out to City of Ferndale. We always welcome you to renew all your licenses in office. City Hall is open from 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday. We are closed on Fridays and on all Major Holidays. WE DO NOT TAKE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS.

FREE TIRE RECYCLING PROGRAM AT EUREKA TRANSFER STATION
Free Tire Reycling Program Tires piling up at the house? Good news! The Free Tire Recycling Program is available now at the Eureka Transfer Station. We can accept up to 9 car to light-truck sized tires for free, per day – 40 max per month. Tires on rims are ok too. If you need to haul over 9 tires, you’ll need a waiver from the Humboldt County LEA. THESE TIRE SOURCES ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM: Registered tire haulers Tire retailers/wholesalers Businesses that install tires as their main business Illegal dump cleanups Questions or concerns?
