The City of Ferndale is offering an up to $300 rebate for backyard composting and vermiculture systems. If you are a resident of the City of Ferndale and would like to compost or vermicompost in your backyard, we encourage you to
participate.

How to receive your up to $300 rebate:

1. Purchase a City-approved compost bin, worm bin, or building materials to construct your own compost bin (must provide photo of finished compost bin to demonstrate that supplies are used appropriately).
2. Fill out the Rebate Form completely – do not leave any blanks! Bring proof of residency (utilities bill, etc.).
3. Send the form and your proof of purchase (receipt and photo if purchasing materials) via email,
mail, or in-person to: cityclerk@ci.ferndale.ca.us,
