NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ferndale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 4, 2024, at 6:00pm at 834 Main Street, Ferndale, CA 95536 for the following item:
1. Proposed Lot Line Adjustment (LLA) to change the property line between two parcels located at 455 Main Street (APN 031-085-008) and 485 Main Street (APN 031-085-006). Parcel sizes before and after LLA: 485 Main Street: 0.28 acres (before) and 0.14 acres (after); 455 Main Street: 0.40 acres (before) and 0.54 acres (after). The LLA is proposed because the property owner plans to sell the 485 Main Street property and wants to retain the existing barn that is currently located on this parcel. Before and after the LLA, the parcels will have frontage on Main Street. Both parcels are currently developed with commercial structures, and no new development is proposed as part of the LLA. A finding of exemption of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is recommended pursuant to Section 15305 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations, of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations.
The public is invited to attend the meeting and provide testimony.
