Notice is hereby given that a general municipal election will be held in the City of Ferndale on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, for the following officers:

Ferndale City Council
Number to be elected: Two (2)
Length of Term: Full Term for Four (4) years
Mayor, City of Ferndale
Number to be elected: One (1)
Length of Term: Full Term for Two (2) years

The Candidate Filing Period is from July 13, 2026, thru August 6, 2026. You may pick up papers at City Hall, 834 Main St, Ferndale, Papers must be filed with the City Clerk by 4:00pm on August 6, 2026, unless an incumbent chooses not to file, then the nomination period is extended to Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 3:00pm. Please contact the City Clerk regarding candidate papers and the election.

The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds, 1250 5th St., Ferndale.
