PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 12/3/2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ferndale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at 834 Main Street, Ferndale, CA 95536 for the following item:
1. Approval of a proposed Lot Line Adjustment (LLA) to adjust the property lines between two existing adjoining parcels. The LLA proposes to add approximately 3,485 square feet of undeveloped area from Parcel A to Parcel B.
Parcel A is developed with a detached single family residence, and accessory structures, and Parcel B is not developed. The purpose of the LLA is to enable better positioning of a new home that is to be built in the future on Parcel B. The applicants are not seeking approvals for the construction of a residence or other structures as part of this LLA application. Parcel A is served by City sewer and Del Oro Water Co. water, and these water and sewer services are available for Parcel B. Both parcels are located in the city of Ferndale, and the LLA applicants, Andrew and Sandralin Westfall, own both parcels. A finding of exemption of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is recommended pursuant to Section 15305 of the CEQA Guidelines, Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations, of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations.
The public is invited to attend the meeting and provide testimony. Comments can also be sent to cityclerk@ci.ferndale.ca.us by 12:00pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Comments will be forwarded to the Commission for their consideration.
