NOMINATION PERIOD EXTENDED
FOR OFFICE OF CITY COUNCIL & MAYOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2022 City Council & Mayor Nomination Period has been extended 5 Days for the consolidated General Election which will be held in the City of Ferndale on Tuesday, November 8, 2020 for the following Offices:

Two (2) City Council Seats (four-year terms)
One (1) Mayor Seat (two-year term)

The nomination period for filing nomination papers for the Office of City Council and Office of Mayor has been extended to Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The extension is a result of the non-filing of Councilmembers Robin Smith and Stephen Avis, and the non-filing of Mayor Don Hindley. Nomination papers must be issued and filed by the Ferndale City Clerk. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will be required to make an appointment with the City Clerk to both pick up and file nomination papers. Nomination Papers must be filed with the City Clerk no later than 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
