DRAFT PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION (PLHA) PROGRAM 5-YEAR PLAN
DRAFT PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION (PLHA) PROGRAM 5-YEAR PLAN
The state of California established the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) grant program when they enacted the 2017 Building Homes and Jobs Trust Fund Act. The PLHA grant program sets aside a non-competitive allocation of funding for cities and counties. On October 19, 2022, the City Council will consider approval of a PLHA application to be filed with the State. For the City to file a PLHA application, it must prepare and adopt a 5-Year Plan. The 5-Year Plan describes how the City proposes to spend its PLHA funds, and outlines how it will comply with PLHA requirements.
The DRAFT 5-Year Plan is now available for public review and comment. Please submit written comments to the City Clerk at cityclerk@ci.ferndale.ca.us or PO Box 1095, Ferndale CA, 95536.
