PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ferndale City Council will hold a public hearing on April 20, 2022 at 7:00pm for the Introduction and 1st Reading, by title only, of the following:
1. Ordinance No. 2022-01, entitled as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FERNDALE APPROVING A MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE POLICY AND DETERMINING ORDINANCE TO BE EXEMPT FROM CEQA
A summary of Ordinance 2022-01 is as follows:
Ordinance 2022-01 implements requirements set forth in AB 481 providing certain requirements for the funding, acquisition, and use of military equipment.

2. Ordinance No. 2022-02, entitled as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FERNDALE FOR ORGANICS REDUCTION AND RECYCLING
A summary of Ordinance 2022-02 is as follows:
Ordinance 2022-02 implements requirements set forth in SB 1383 reducing the amount of organic and recyclable materials deposited in landfills.
